happy (belated!) birthday, chelsea!

On Nov. 28th, my sister celebrated her 27th birthday! We went to Barrel Oak Winery, in Delaplane. it was so beautiful and everyone there was SO nice. And they are extremely dog friendly!! We had a really good time, and enjoyed some delicious wine! We brought Amelia with us, I figured she would like doing something with the "big" girls, but that wasn't really the case. (opps!)

Chels, I hope you had a wonderful birthday! I love you so much. You are an amazing sister, and even better friend. I am so glad to have you in my life, I love all our crazy memories together, old and new, and look forward to making many more. Love you!!! (sorry this is a little late!)

About a week ago, I met up with some super cute kids! You may recognize a few of them from a previous post that I did with the other side of their family! The Porters have become like family to us, and I was so honored when they asked me to photograph them with the rest of their family! In this blog post, I decided to post the ones of all the kids because they are all so adorable, and they really had so much fun playing all together! Here are some of my favorites! Amelia has been asking everyday if we could make some turkey cookies out of her hands. (we saw it on nick jr.!) It was a chore to trace Addison's hand for her cookies, but so worth it. They all turned out super adorable!! This was Amelia's face when I asked her if she was excited to start baking!

I am so thankful for my family and friends. I am especially thankful for all their support and encouragement they continue to pour out to me, you are all amazing and I am blessed to have you in my life! Thank you so much!!!!

I am thankful for all our men overseas who continue to fight for our country. You guys rock.

I am thankful to my clients for trusting me with their family photos! You guys rock too.

I know my kids are included in the first sentence, but I just gotta say....they are so amazing and beautiful and I am most thankful to God for blessing me with them. They are smart, healthy, and loved SO much, and I can't ask for much more than that.

I was so excited when Eric contacted me about scheduling some family pictures. It has been a few years since I have seen them, and I just couldn't get over how big the kids were!! We had fun catching up and exploring a local park. Here are some from our day together.

baby haiden!

About 2 weeks ago, my best friend Christina welcomed her 2nd little girl into the world! Both Haiden and Mom are doing so well! It is so exciting to see how the family is adjusting to the new addition. I love everything about newborns, their tiny heads and big bellies, their feet (times 100!) their innocence, their fresh, pure smell. They just amaze me. I was so excited to get some pictures of Haiden when she was a few days old, but my time was cut short due to her broken collar bone. :( Thankfully, she has healed since then and I was able to move her around a little bit more this time!

Congratulations you guys, I love you so much and I'm so excited to watch Haiden continue to grow! She is beautiful!

It has recently become a slight challenge to get pictures of Addison. She is just SO busy all the time, and usually she spends all her energy in trying to get the camera from me! I knew if I waited until halloween to get pictures of her dressed up it would be a disaster. There is always so much chaos going on, and it will be so close to her bedtime that it will leave me with a cranky girl to photograph! We went outside the other day and I was able to get a few. She did pretty well this time. Instead of trying to get my camera, she mostly tried to escape her costume. :)
